Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center Takes Center Stage at PGA Tour Champion Tournament at Firestone Country Club’s Famed South Course

Fairlawn, Ohio, July 8, 2024 – For the third year in a row, Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center, a physician-owned hospital system, is a sponsor of the PGA’s Kaulig Companies Championship, which will be held July 10-14 at Firestone Country Club in Akron. This officially sanctioned PGA TOUR Champions event draws thousands of spectators each year to see golf legends compete.

Crystal Clinic’s “Chat and Chill” spectator area is centrally located at the main entrance of the tournament and near the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame stage. Physicians, physical therapists, pain management specialists and staff from Crystal Clinic’s hospital system will be on hand to engage with attendees and answer questions. Attendees will also have an opportunity to participate in Crystal Clinic’s daily putting contest for a chance to win $100 gift certificates from Firestone Country Club’s pro shop.

The Vindys, an alt-rock band from Youngstown that has been steadily building a national following, will perform on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame stage on Saturday, July 13 following tournament play. The Vindys are currently touring with Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo during select dates on their 2024 national tour. The Vindys hit song “Classic” is also featured in Crystal Clinic’s latest television commercial, which was filmed during last year’s Kaulig Companies Championship.The commercial follows a couple enjoying an afternoon at the tournament, demonstrating how Crystal Clinic’s nationally-renowned orthopaedic care is helping patients maintain an active lifestyle or return to the activities they love and enjoy most.
