There are many ways to volunteer at Crystal Clinic
Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center (CCOC) volunteers are an integral part of the hospital at both our Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center Hospital and Montrose Outpatient Surgery Center locations. They provide crucial support services that are vital to the hospital and the well-being of its patients. Our volunteers include college students, adults and retirees, and even former patients. They play valuable and meaningful roles in the lives of our patients throughout the hospital. In addition to learning, growing, and meeting new friends, our volunteers help make a real difference in the lives of our patients and families!
Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center will provide patient centered, high quality, value based, orthopaedic, musculoskeletal and reconstructive care to improve or restore the function and enhance the lifestyle of the patients we serve.
Our volunteers fill a wide variety of roles, including:
- Acting as hospital ambassadors to patients, employees and visitors
- Visiting patients and providing comfort and support
- Assisting on nursing units
- Delivering flowers
Why Volunteer?
Each year thousands of people serve as hospital volunteers across the country, meeting the needs of patients, their families, and the staff. There are many reasons why people volunteer, including helping others, making a difference, finding a purpose, connecting with their community, and to feel involved.
As you can see, there are many reasons to volunteer. Some motives involve a desire to help others, but you will benefit from volunteering as well! You will make new friends as you serve and make a difference in your community. Always remember – a gift of time is just as important as a gift of money! The rewards of volunteerism are gratifying – over and over volunteers say “I get back more than I give.”
