Dr. Miller is a graduate of the University of Iowa and the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. He completed residencies in surgery at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cleveland and in orthopedic surgery at St. Luke’s Hospital/Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. He completed a fellowship in adult spinal reconstruction at the San Francisco Spine Institute. He also served as a Major in the U.S. Air Force Medical Corps.

Dr. Miller specializes in adult spinal reconstruction, as well as minimally invasive surgery of the spine and spinal microsurgery.

Dr. Miller is a member of several state and national orthopedic organizations, serving as associate editor of The Spine Journal and the Spine Arthroplasty Society Journal. He has given numerous presentations to local and national medical and scientific societies and is an accomplished author, researcher and educator. Dr. Miller has been a physician since 1981.
