Curtis R. Noel, M.D.
Bio
Dr. Noel is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in the shoulder and elbow and sports medicine. He graduated summa cum laude from Creighton University and attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where he graduated with honors as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Dr. Noel completed his orthopedic residency in Akron and received his fellowship training at the Steadman-Hawkins Clinic of the Carolinas. He is board certified in orthopedic surgery.
Dr. Noel specializes in shoulder and elbow surgery, as well as sports medicine injuries and treatments. He treats patients of all ages, and he has extensive experience in arthroscopic and open surgeries in the shoulder and elbow including: total shoulders, reverse total shoulders, rotator cuff repairs, instability surgeries and more.
Dr. Noel is a member of the American Shoulder and Elbow Society and the Arthroscopy Association of North America, as well as many other state and national associations. He travels extensively teaching and lecturing nationally and internationally. Dr. Noel is one of the busiest total shoulder surgeons in the nation and helps design and develop some of the technologies used in shoulder replacement surgery. Dr. Noel works closely with his physician assistant, Michelle Kilbaine, who has nearly a decade of shoulder and elbow experience.
